Omega 1 fish foods ?

Best way to determine fish food quality is to read the label which contains the ingredients. O1 is definitely the top 3 foods IMO. We had a member her actually eat some for himself and he liked it :)

I bet alcohol was involved....

I've grown out some nice looking monsters on omega 1 pellets. I also end up with some of the pickiest eaters and most will take an omega 1 pellet for whatever reason.

I started a thread about this a few months ago. There's some real good info there. Check my threads. I chose to go with omega one as a staple but I do mix in other pellets also.

I think I will give the Omega one veggie rounds a shot this week. I have always been a big fan of Krill and my fish love them.

Thats pretty much what I feed my fish is all Omega1. I feed my Midas and Oscar Omega1 Cichlid Pellets, and then I feed my Carpintis a mix of Omega1 Super Veggie Pellets and Omega1 Super Color Pellets.
Up here in Alaska its about the best thing we can find locally without ordering out of state. Where I live the "best" fish food I can find is Hikari and Omega1, and I would rather use Omega1 over Omega one. Just compare the ingredients between Hikari and Omega1 and you will see why.

One of these days I do plan on ordering some food out of state and trying some other stuff but for now Omega 1 seems to be pretty decent food.

I mix my pellets get what is assumed best foods mix them in a big tub and feed from this figure this way they don't have to eat same thing everyday they can pick what they want that day I know if I was a fish iwould get bored eating the same thing everyday
I've seen arguments on both sides of that. Really, it's personal preference imo. Lot of fish species in the wild eat basically the same thing all the time, some more specialized than others. Other fish may get different foods available at different seasons, etc. But a lot of aquarium fish are perfectly happy with one product all their lives, as long as it's a food they like with good ingredients, good nutrition. Probably feeding different foods entertains us as much as the fish in many cases, but on the other hand I haven't seen where using more than one product has any particular disadvantage, either, as long as each product is high quality.
