WTF! my fishes are dying! one of my peacock bass died of an unknown casue and now the arowana and my other bass is dying too. The water params are all good but i just did like a 20% water change is there anything else i can do? i dont have aquarium salt so that wont work but any thing PLEASE!

whats the temp, could anything have fell in it, when was last time you cleanen or even messed with the tank, and if so what did you do, i dont know what to say right now bc i have no idea. what are the reading of your water, post what they are, it will help.

oh and how long has the tank been setup and runing

nitrites-0 ppm, nitrates 10-15ppm. temp at 80, didnt mess anything up just checked up on them and that was how i found them. PLEASE anything i can do.

for like 3 months now. i just moved them from my 55g which they were in, into my 29 gallon with my convicts and they seem to be swimming more and showing more signs of life. I hope they make it. Anything else i can do?

hmm strange, how do you fish look, are them eating, swiming alot and so forth? if you have a lfs close by i would bring a sample of you water and have them test. i really have no idea, if nothing feel in and your water is fine then i would think there is something like ick or something, but if fish seem fine then i have no idea. take some water to lfs. thats what i would do

they wont eat, now they are not swimming at all but still breathing normal. The bass is on the bottom upright but not swimming and the arowana is stuck to the filter but still breathing normal. I would take the water to the lfs but they are closed already. Both of them started having cloudy eyes in the 55g and it grew worse within like 1 hour cuz i thought they were going to be okay but after one of my bass died i quickly got them out and putted them in my 29g. Thanks so far

you can use table salt as well if you can't get aq salt
post any pics that would help

wow sounds like this all happened very fast, are you sure nothing could have fallen in or you feed them some bad food, what did you feed them last, when was last waterchange amd how long after that waterchange did u notice them geting all messed up. sounds like you had a spike in water or something but you said it was all ok, hmmm, sry bro i have no idea, if its not the watet it had to be something that was put in tank. i would replace as much water as i could and clean ur filters and see if that helps, raise the temp add salt is best advice i can give you right now, good luck

no havent feed them anything today i was going downstairs and WAS going to feed them, but they all acted weird and then i did the 20% water change and left them be. Came back like 20 mins later started having some cloudy eyes, and found one lying on the bottom and the other two about to go (arowana and other bass). then i transfered them from that tank to the 29g where they are now. but i feed them crickets the night before this happened. I guess they were spooked at first and the water change was the one that had the most impact i quess but the water params were all alright. Sorry cant get pix tonight my big bro and his wife got it at a wedding where they are at now. I hope they both pull it through. Thanks guys.
