epsom salt will not help to keep your fish calm
and unless there is any infection or any fungus don't add meds to the tank
just keep the water clean that will help, just my .02

i say you should add in meds cause bacterial blooms can occur with high temps. oscars can handle up to 88 degrees F.... and meds will help fight against fungal infections

You do realize you do not have to buy "aquarium" salt...you can use your regular table salt to treat with also, no need really to spend extra on the "aquarium" stuff.

Personally, I would add the salt and meds....for about 7 days, do a water change and do it again until it clears up!
