I think your right personally, it was someone who knew the place IMO...hey, can you see where the xbox was from the front door, like when you answer it can you see that spot while there.

Do your room mates usually answer the door if someone knocks, where they sleeping or just in their room?

Man when I saw the title my heart dropped, I thought you were going to say your weapons were stolen! I assume they are in a different place if you have all those people living together?

Oh man no way the armory is safe and sound, a secure location.;)
Actually they're still at my dads house my brothers are still sorting things out up there so I figure they're safer there for now than here.....Ive no safes.:(

I would have been able to see them from the front door yes,but they must have spooked when they heard the toilette flush thats the only thing I can think of.

Yeah of my roommates two work mornings and get off at night and me and my roommate work nights so usually sleep days (til about noon). It almost seems like they were counting on that,as this was about 8 in the morning all this happened,I was going to go back to bed myself soon for at least a little while.

So I guess you could say everyone who knows anybody in that house knows not to knock before 12 unless you want to get some stink eye at the very least, maybe a little chewing out.But to answer your question yes my roommates are usually pretty good about getting up and answering the door.

I got one of my tires cut up in my apartment complex recently. I also know how my police operate, although there may be a couple of reasons for you to call them.

1) If you have any type of insurance, or if your parents have insurance, it may be covered under that, but a police report will probably be required to file a claim.

2) When it happened to me, I could tell the cops didn't care much, although later I read in the paper that there had been some sort of spree going on and they caught the people. The cops might be more interested than you think as there might be something going on in your neighborhood.

AGREE 100%. THIS IS COMING FROM AN INSURANCE APPRAISER.

If you cant get any insurance $$$ you could pronnly get some from your landlord cuz the fence

That sucks $300.00 gone. Just make sure to keep doors locked(Duh!) i guess. Go buy a alarm sytem sign like 3 of them and stickers lol post them everywere. Or a pitbull.
LOL if some1 stole my x-box while i was home all i could say is HOW I
have 4 dogs so if some1 moves something all you hear is barking.

Sorry that really sucks =[ and its a crappy feeling to how easy it is to have you personal space violated by someone. Def. have a chat with the landlord about that fence.

sounds like you need a good dog, if someone tried to rob my house, they would regret the day they were born. it probably has nothing to do with anyone you know, if someone is bold enough to strike you while you are home, you better believe that they did a bit of research first, which is easily achieved by taking a walk around your house during the day, that's why you don't leave your garage open during the summertime either, even while doing something simple like mowing the lawn
