OMG PLECO =[

Obvious troll is obvious, This 'trolling' is just embarrassing to read.

My advice to you as a new keeper is to trade back all of your fish and restart you are no where close to even in the right direction. Your plan to keep fish until they outgrow a 20 g is just poor. You needx to restart with begginer fish.

It's obvious Djlamonica read the ops response. I agree with the above.

Phongstuh~
The above is great advice it will save the life of the fish and will safe you money and time that you'll waste. You can't get back time.

People shouldn't attack the op he clearly F'ing said he's only been in the hobby for a short while.
He's open to criticism so why not make it positive and not negetive.
He's obviously not being a prick about it and is willing to learn.

People make mistakes

so i bought two plecos today for my 10 gal and my 20 gal tanks named them both! blackie, and spots.
well anyways i let them in their respective tanks to make sure everything was all good and okay before i left to san diego for a family get together. so 8 hours later i come home to find my pleco "blackie" in the middle of the room motionless not knowing how long he was out the tank..... i was heartbroken =[ so i grabbed a bag filled it with water and hope the fish store would give me a replacement. not thinking it was harrassed and everything cause in that tank i have a buncha guppies, a redtail catfish (very mellow and well fed) and one panda goldfish. i went to grab him by the tail and HE MOVED! O_O i was so happy to find he was alive! i threw him back into the tank added some salt and another airstone to hopefully restore him back to life, meanwhile watching him swim to the bottom and recuperate i witnessed the culprit you guessed it the PANDA GOLDFISH he was nibbling at his fins and he desperately went for shelter (my 10 gallon is very plain) which was under my sponge filter away from the goldfish and surprisingly he hid well went right under my RTC like it was being hugged like a little brother and the catfish didnt mind they are about the same size my cat which is 4inches right now is safegaurding him lol weird huh? well now hes safe but will he make it? thanks and what should i do to help him?

but now i know why my very passive fugu puffer attacked and ate half of the other panda goldfish....
he was a pissed off puffer.

Pics or it never happened. Also..it's best to do your research *before* you buy your fish not after. I would take every single fish that will exceed over 3 inches back to the store until you have your 75 set up and ready to go. Otherwise you have set yourself up for one gigantic mess and lots of future expenses.

i know its our duty to self police but wow, no forgiveness for the newby

posted pics, and yeah im getting the 75 next friday and setting it up with the freshwater from the fish store imma let it cycle with the filter it came with cause its housing two gigantic goldfish. and let it run for another week or two before introducing the bichir, pleco, catfish.
then ill be moving puffer to the 20gallon after i get the salinity to brackish for that tank and keep guppies in the other 10 and use the other 10 for incase they get sick.

im looking at a 100 gallon for 80 buck! super cheap but the canister filter isnt cheap so i needa start saving some more money tilli can get that. also picked up massivore pellets from hikari it was pretty expensive... and trying to make the bichir eat it is really tough.

Rtc needs in a year 300 gallon tank, then it would be about 600(think width) gallon and up.

Trade in the catfish while you still can...no pet store likes 24" catfish dropped off on them.
