I agree with them. Body got no girth only stomah. and so skinny you see the eyes look pop out because the body is so suked up..that fish been sick for a loong while. Can it eat? I doubt it but dont feed rght now. Treat internal parasite ASAP and water change more
It looks like you added him directly to one of your tanks. You should always quarantine new fish, especially ones that do not appear healthy. Hopefully he doesn't have any kind of bacterial infection that could spread.
Where would you like for me to quarantine him? In my other tank? I have2 tanks a 120 and a 220. As far as him being skinny? Are you looking at the same fish as I am? Without its belly it is still 3-4" in girth. Thanks for the advice. I am treating for IPs and added Epsom salt this morning ill keep this thread to update his progress

Most people would have smaller quarantine/hospital tanks on hand. The first time you lose a tankful of fish due to one sick newcomer, you will see that it's a wise investment. You can get a 40 breeder or a 55 during Petco's $1 per gallon sale and use that to quarantine new fish or isolate and treat sick fish.
It's also easier/cheaper to medicate and do large water changes on a smaller aquarium because you'll use less medication and less water.
I understand that but I don't have room for all that. If I built a new stand i Might be able to put a 40 breeder under it but that's about it. But my option was put it in the 120 with my Xingu and Azul Growouts or put it in my 220. So it was the only choice I had. I wasn't going to leave it there to die
I'm not trying to argue with anyone I know the fish needs treated, I just had no other option. I didn't plan on getting it, it was a spur of the moment thing just trying to get it healthy and find it a better home
