I'm looking at the same fish as you, and I agree he is thick regardless of his BIG belly. That said, I would ask you the same question, are you looking at the same fish as me? This guy is nowhere near 3-4 inches in girth. That is an obscenely large width, and I simply do not believe it. I think you might reconsider if you held a ruler to the tank and waited for the opportune moment.

Congrats on rescuing him/her from irresponsible owners though

I agree I was just over exaggerating lol I'd say he's about 2-2.5" though. Guys got a nugget on him.

Bad news, he died. I did everything everyone told me to do, was doing daily water changes, feeding pellets with Epsom salt, and treated for IPs. Woke up and he died.
