Just a tip i just learned .. i was about to move the female to her own tank and leave the fry on their own but before i made the move i read up on it..the fry need the mom for ten days because they sleep in the safety of her mouth..whew i'm glad i read that first.. and just wanted to pass that on. So i will wait and move her on the 11th day..

This mom venustus is doing a wonderful job..the babies actually have great markings and have grown quite a bit already.. when i go to take a pic every baby is in MOM's mouth in seconds.. i will try this am again to get a pic..so far so good!!!
