oowwhh..did these E catfish kill tankmates??anyone?

I don't know about killing tankmate, but I know they carry a powerful punch even at a small stage. My 9 in flowerhorn experience firsthand after I drop him in the tank with the 3.5 in electric catfish because of his aggressiveness toward his other tankmate. Thinking they would be OK since the catfish is a bottom dweller and the flowerhorn wouldn’t try to fight a catfish anyway…..boy was I wrong. After I released the flowerhorn in the tank and walk away for bit, no more than 5 minutes later, I came back to find that the flowerhorn was wobbling in the tank with his head down and tail up half paralyze. I had to again seperate the electric catfish in a breeder for the flowerhorn safety and the flowerhorn didn’t fully get conscious until an hour later.
