If you want to avoid hunger pangs, eat ostrich. I ate an ostrich burger at a picnic on a Saturday afternoon, and I wasn't hungry again until Sunday dinner. I've never had anything so filling, and I am not a delicate eater.

Guinea pig is a popular food in Ecuador. They end up being about game hen sized on the plate. They prepare it with the head still attached for some tourists though.

If you´re interested in eating fish kept domestically then be careful if getting them from someone else as you may not know whether medications have been used on the fish that have accumulate in the flesh
