lol, while I dont have 'carnivores' I do have a snook and pearsei that can pack it away. Thats why I do a mix of all different size pellets in both sinking and floating. The fish cant be everywhere at once and this gives a fighting chance for some of the polys to get food too.
Cause i just got some SD in my tank but im thinking of getting some indo dat, and i havent tried other fish and bichirs on feeding time.
its not too bad but can be a bit annoying when they hoard all the food. I just dump food at both ends simultaneously so they get confused. I wouldn't recommend bass with polys cuz they are way too damn fast. Dat with poly is probably ok. Dats are much more calm when it is feeding time.not sure if you seen this video but you can check it out.

SD as in silver dollars? Happiest day of my life is when I sold mine, lol. I had seven red hooks and they were agressive feeders!
Yup i got some free SD from craiglist, atleast i know they are like veggies and pellets. Why did you sell yours?
So far my sd dont really bother my bichirs, the SD eats in the morning from lettuce and pellets, while the bichirs eat ate night.
