One of my Frogs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
people are only trying to give you helpful advise regards to your frog and turtle (in the other thread), you shouldn't treat it as a personal attack.

I respect you comment because you are a Mod but if you can see what was said before it was deleted you might have a different tune?

rmorse don't talk to me bud you have nothing useful to add and you have no idea what you are talking about we have been through this already. Just because things were deleted and people can no longer see you ignorance it's not a clean slate to begin running your mouth one more you can go back to the Lounge where you feel at home and give it a rest. I have already proven I KNOW ECACTLY WHAT I AM DOING AND HOW TO CARE FOR BOTH THE ANIMALS IN BOTH THREADS

Who do you think deleted them ;)
All I'm saying is that other than a couple who take things too far, the majority have simply been giving advice, asked for or not. It's time for everyone to calm down and discuss things appropriately and respectfully.

Agreed. Get that Clawed Frog an appropriate habitat. The end. :)

Once again, please refrain from the childish comments.

That frog needs to be in a proper setup, not a glass bowl with water in it. Both the betta and the frog (as well as the turtles) are in no way in the proper environment.

I would suggest researching your animals a bit more.

OP: When you can, get a 10 gallon for it. I have kept one for over 5 years and have 3 now and babies galore and I agree their lateral line make them sensitive with any vibration. Mine are out ALOT more after I took the filter off, they go to the top and play around alot more compared to sitting under the fake plants when the filter was in use. Their use to stagnant waters, a weekly water change is a must with these since they have no filtration. Everyone has just been trying to help in their own ways, it's cool dude. Just try and get a 10 gallon when she gets bigger.

and thank you for that Davo:)

as for the ten gall I plan to give it much more than that it's just that for the moment it is fine nit there and I am doing it on purpose for the feeding issue it seems for be working very well too.

the turtles again with that well they actually have a great set up minus the sand that is not going to happen

Than you would know that they have a lateral line that is super sensitive to any sort of vibration! Even the quietest aquarium filter will be like living with a constant jackhammer all day and night. This leads to stress and death smart guy

Any links to backup this?

Fishes have lateral lines too and they do fine in tanks.

My wife just got about 5 or 6 african dwarf frogs. They are really neat frogs. Good luck with your gems.
