Online aquarium company recommendations?

I know its not what you meant I was just stating what was on my mind and then thanking u for the tip. But I understand what you mean and thank you.

I had good luck with the Glasscages tank and I'm happy with the product I received (besides the stand that had no access in the back). For my next big tank I just want to explore my options further and find an other online aquarium company that has a dependable and decent looking product. Nothing on cinder blocks in my living room but it doesn't have to be the Ferrari of fish tanks. As for the floor I have a basement but I had it reinforced it before I moved in keeping in mind I'd still have be reasonable keeping my aquarium comfortably under 400 gallons. I'm not decided on acrylic or glass. I've been leading heavily towards Customaquariums but I appreciate all of the input!

The only gripe I heard about glass cages. Was they didn't use tempered bottoms and some tanks cracked, seems easy to remedy, order one with a tempered bottom.

If you're custom ordering an aquarium that's being made to sell you can request whatever you want. Pick your glass thickness, tempered, not tempered, low iron glass, regular glass etc.

Just go with custom aquariums they are probably one of the cheapest and best options you can get and good luck on your future aquarium.:)

I just ordered a 300 gallon acrylic tank from Truvu. I was not impressed with Midwest Custom Aquarium as the person I spoke with was not really very helpful.

I have seen seen tanks made from both Truvu and Midwest, both have quality products. But at the end of the day, I went with the company that was willing to spend some time explaining to me the pros and cons of the different options versus getting 1 word answers.

Ehhh Ive heard good things and bad things about midwest aquariums everyone has different experiences with them but even though you had a bad experience with them at least you found another good company that made you a good aquarium so that is good.

Good customer service does go a long way. The woman I dealt with at Glasscages seemed to have just enough familiarity with products to take my order but that was the extent of it.
