I notice last night my tiger has a prefect black tail eye spot. It's hard to get ao good pic of it. There really isn't any black on him except in the spot. It might be normal but it just jumped out at me last night. Even when his colors get dull the black in the spot stays vibrate.
This seems to be very normal my Red tiger has the same black spot and my Albino has an orange one.

hey perfect i shoulda told u but there was a retarded huge oscar at a lfs here in cedar rapids he was like 16" id say atleast..... friggin ridicullously huge he looked as if he could eat a golf ball with his huge mouth. oh and at the same lfs they have some what they call wild or normal oscar babies im talkin .5" ones for like 3 bux a pop they so cute
also once i get some pics of my lil guy ill join :P hes bout 3.5" he was labeled a normal oscar. still has his white stripe but doesnt show his colors unless he gets into a fight with his tankmates or its feeding time. he is currently housed with 2 smaller jags

is it still there? how much they want for it?

Nice oscars there HPIZZLE!! Let me find out your number and I'll tell ya!

its not still there but they do have some big ole oscars there tho. not sure what happened to it i went there on thursday. it was there on tuesday tho. but if u wanna try to pick up some baby .5" normal oscars go to my fav lfs Pet's Playhouse if u dont already know its only the best fish store in town. they might be a lil more expensive to buy fish there but they definatly are worth it with there quality fish. they keep their tanks clean they do water changes at least once a week if not twice and they get new shipments in on thursdays. but they do have soem bigger oscars there too for like 20 bux i think idk ill check the prices. but that giant oscar definatly looked as if he was about to die of old age. ive never seen an oscar that big it was ridiculous
