draknurd go for raw shrimp, its cheaper to feed than feeders anyway, plus its healthier. that and silversides, or mussles. get them by the pound at your local wal-mart, or hy-vee or what not.
Thanks will give it a try

I had a 14" oscar when I was like 8. He was my dad's pride and joy and surprisingly he kept him a live in a 30G for a little over 10 yrs, needless to say he was kinda sad when I told him the O was prolly not as happy in that 30G. Anyway fast forward 12 yrs to today and I just picked up two new babies today, an albino and a tiger that my dad picked out. Not monsters yet but I thought I'd share. Here's hoping they become true monsters!

I tried to put a 2.5-3" in with my 5"'s and they run him off into the plants. He's living in my QT tank now trying to fatten him up.

I feeed raw shrimp. Since my guys aren't full grown yet I cut it into mouth size bits and put about 3 days worth in sandwitch bags and freeze them. it really fattens them up.
