After a large feeding (including a quarter of a pumpkin), my company sent me out of town for a week for an emergency repair. During that time away my filter discharge hose came loose and drained most of the 650gal. Between the filter/water loss and heavy feeding, the remaining water soured quickly and killed off the tank.
Also lost this little foot and a half:

36" Titanic Panaque (RIP)

I Know they get that big but its sill hard for me to even picture one that large. Id love to see one that size some day. How long does it take for them to get that big?

Probably have seen it before but here is my 15" :)

all my panaques are in glass tanks now but i never saw any damage when they were in there.

That panaque is gorgeous and i feel so bad for oddball he had a beautiful collection of plecos thats truly a tragic story i would do anything for that size tank with those guys in it. Cant believe i just found this thread today. A quarter of a pumpkin, now i know how you got them to be such monsters.
