Hard to train each individual in this large tank but it makes for good water quality for the little guys. I started w/ live blk worms. Then frzn bloodworms for a bit. But I had a couple stubborn ones. So I have gave in and tossed about 75 guppies or so in for em in the last week and a half...on top of the frzn bw. Im gonna get em another 30 or so minnows or guppies and then some more live blk worms. As they bulk up from that I'll start mixn the frzn bw in more. Hopefully onto the bw/pellet mixture soon.
As for Britney....cant hate on those looks from back in the day. I wouldnt have kicked her outta my tank![]()
Have you tried putting some thawed out bloodworms and wrapping them around Massivore and dropping it in like that? I tried it and my young kelberis swallowed both the worms and the pellet at once. Then after awhile, stop putting the bloodworms on the pellets. That's how I quickly trained mine. I think that as long as they're eating bloodworms, you can always trick them into eating massivore wrapped around bloodworms like that. It's like tricking kids into eating stuff they don't want to eat by putting it in their ice cream. Always works.
