Open Wound on my fish's Face

Using Mela-pimafix, salt, a little warmer temps, erythromycin, and some TLC. The white fungus is nearly all gone, will take pics soon, the giant open wound is now a big open wound, Hes eating and swimming actively, its like a whole new fish. Hopefully he continues to recover like this... I feel bad for what hes gone through, but I'm happy I took him in. I don't think I will be needing to swab his wound.

Looks like everything is clearing up, waiting for an extra week to make sure hes 100% then im adding him to the main tank.

Fiji is very close, so they are in tongan waters, my guess is Channa striata.

Im not even tryin to pry im just in awe, didnt know if they were native to the islands or if they are introduced.

They are def. not native, on islands there is no way they could cross ocean w/o people. Snakeheads sure are getting a bad name.
