Ok all I picked up a 100 gallon tank with stand for 40 bucks ! It has a wood trim on the bottom and none on the top. I was thinking of making a matching oak top That could possibly hold some lids. It holds water and so here is where the delima starts .I don't know what I will do with it .My wife does not want me to have any snakes although I would like to get sone kind of small boa or python . Or I could turn it in to an area to put baby blue trees in till I sell them (if I ever get eggs that hatch). I should be getting the monitors for the terrarium by the end of this month by the way and my thread will finnaly be finished So come on all give me some constructive ideas as to what to put in here .I dont need another fish tank due to already having a 300 gallon .So let's keep it in the reptillian / anphibian area.

I already had a carpet and would love t get another but too big 4 my taste I was thinking more along the lines of leusistic rosy or paradox albino sand

if it was my choice i would make a masive viviarium with a stream, fogger, real plants and get some dart frogs.

how much do you plan on putting into this tank...as in $$$ or $$$$?

Sand? They would get lost in a tank that big. Is it 4 ft or 5 ft? A GTP is another option, but always a pricey one and they can be difficult to tame. I have seen some friendly ones though. You could do a pair of rosys or something if you want but they are pretty small snakes. I think most males only hit 20-24" or something. Females right at 3-4'

The tank dimensions are 6 foot long by 18-20 wide by 24 tall.I did not measure it but these are approximations .I was also thinking dart frogs and wondered how many diffrent species I could put in their and if I could get a colony of fruit flys and other insects to breed on their oun to make a kind of low human impact biosphere.

How about a carpet python? I know she said no snakes... but my mother said the same thing, and now she loves my python!
