Opinions on Eheim Pro 3E 2078

Setup was easy, much less flow then my FX5 so we will see. Still abit of air in the system so hopefully it will work out soon. I filled as follows bottom 3 are filled with ehfimech top it filled with EhfiFix and a thin layer of ehfisynth. If the Synth plugs to fast I will remove it. No prefilter yet.

Drs Fosters and Smith. I think 379.99. Its one tall piece of hardware as it barely fits under my stand with my electrical board attached to it.

No media I had most of the Ehfimech but also ordered the installation sets 1 and 2 for the nice looks. It was alot.
 
Ouch, I only paid $304 for mine, and used purely in-store credit. They tacked you for quite a bit didn't they.

Yeah for Eheim my only option in Mail Order as no one with in several hours drive atleast carries Eheim. So far I really like it. need to shorten my hoses a touch more I think. Sounds like it makes a bit more noise not sure what that is about might need to pull it apart and check out the impellar to make sure its seated right. Well I'm off to get my wisdom teeth removed so ahve a great day.

Have fun with the wisdom teeth. :D My 2078 is silent, I can't hear it running at all. It is the most silent eheim I have had to date.
 
Got em done, kinda luppy yet from being put under and the Vicodin should take care of teh rest. Mine is quietin up good now. The fish seem much happier with less flow. A few floaties on the top of the water but all seems good so far. In about a week I will post my FX5 forsale.
