I like the show very much.I have work with Mr. King in the past and Wade was nice like you see on their show. ATM built me a 15,000 gallon freshwater tank.I am pleased how it turned out.

I want to be the first to say this :

POST SOME PICS!!!!!!!!!!!! That is incredible system you have

My only gripes are in regards to the large amount of fish being placed in the tanks with no acclimation and the quality of the fish. I think it was the episode with the phone booth aquarium that showed a dead damsel, others with injuries and a few tanks with health issues. The show itself is pretty good and will hopefully get more people into the fishkeeping hobby.

Hmmm, I was comming into this thread to post the same as many others. How the hell do they set up a tank and stock to the hilt with fish all in the same day.

There was an old saying in the Marine Corps that comes to mind ... "Good Initiative, Bad Judgment" either that or they can explain their reasoning and/or methods of making some of this stuff actually work, when so many people who've done tanks for years would tell you from experience it doesnt. (referring to the million damsels in a phone booth mainly)

All in all I give the show a 4/5 because the show is primarily about creating creative/intricate/beautiful aquariums which they have deliverd well. Just for the health of the fish ain't so good...which is important however many viewers are probably interested in the tanks then the well fare of the inhabitants.

i think the first few episodes are for shock value to get people interested. If it keeps going I hope they get more into the actual setup and technical aspects of the show. What I don't like is the reality TV drama. Its' cheesy... talk about the fish dammit!

I don't like the 'drama' either.. but Brett seems to have an authentic 'retardedness' about him.. that makes it enjoyable to watch...

i just don't like how everything they use is plastic or whatever, no live rock, no corals of any kind, no plants, just decorations.

i concur... i get it in a shark tank but if your gonna have reef safe fish in the tank... MAKE IT A REAL FRIGGIN REEF!
