Nice planted tank, but needs a background.

i saw a small tank like that having an eel and mixed gurami it looked good.

i had 2 rams but one got beat up by the other one and died and the other one but the other one just disapeared i checked the whole tank but couldnt find him he didnt jump out either and salt is to much work

what should i do for the actual tank and environment i was thinking a biotope of some sort

You may lose the plants but if you want a medium sized jerk then get a Salvini!
