How about his decor, is it heavy & complicated, with lots of places to check out & investigate?

Its not as much as that. I rearrange it every couple of weeks cuz I get tired of the way it looks. He'll stop chewing when I do that for a couple days and then go right back to doing it. So you think it's a boredom thing? Are there two GSP in your tank? I thought they would kill each other...
 
OMG... I just found out my Smallscale Archer is actually a Banded Archer fish... darnit... that means it's going to get too big for 50 gallons... I'll have to sell him too. That makes me sad. BUT it's looking better and Better for an upgrade for my Puffer. IF he gets along with my Goby... I don't want to get rid of them.
 
I'm sorry but i have to ask- How old are yours puffer punk?
Mine seem to love when I rescape and playin in currents and bubbles.
I can't wait for mine to be that size.

Mine were 6" adults--the size of a Nerf football. I had 2 in there but I felt they did't have enough swimming room so they got re-homed to separate marine tanks.

The 2 I had were bought from the same tank at the same size, about 2".
 
Yeah. I thought he got eaten last night cuz I've NEVER seen him burry himself in the sand until this morning. It was cute... and my camera wouldn't turn on. But all's well right now. I'm getting some slate and silicon today after classes. But it looks like there'll be him and the Goby left after I fix my stocking.
 
I would never keep a GSP & violet goby together. He'll shred the goby's fins, for sure.
 
mmmkay. Well... back to the thirty then. He won't like it after being in the 50 for 2 days. What if I gave the Violet Goby to my friend. She wants one and she has a 60 gallon brackish tank with an obscene amount of Bumble bee gobies in it. She has like 20. And they all have names... I dont' think she can tell them apart save grumpy who is half black and half goldish yellow. I'm still not sure that he's all bumblebee... but he stays the same size as the rest. She keeps telling me she's gonna come steal Gargii. So if I gave him to her... given that she has a 60 and 20 BBG's would that be enough for Gargii?

Cuz he seems much happier in a larger tank. Would I be able to put anything with him? I can live with it if I can't but a 3 inch fish in a 48 inch tank is ... bare. He'll double in size though so that's a plus.
