Oh definitely! Wouldn't do it if I didn't have one.. I don't put my Jag in Jeopardy for ANY fish.. he's my baby. :D
 
i currently have two midas/devils in my cichlid community. they are very powerful and very muscular cichlids, a treat to watch. you will enjoy watching them grow up fast and become big "orange" monsters:)
 
I have a adult 13" RD/Midas. I love him. So much so that I am making arrangements to have him shipped out to me. I am moving from California to NC. My other fish im rehoming. I will be putting him in a 120 now and hoping to get him a mate soon.

I didn't hate them, they just didn't go with my tank, and I was never into them.. but I guess I'm like you.. always changing my mind. haha

Oh nice, Zack is picking up one of the midas? Their father is a huge beast like 13" with a nice kok. One of the midas are female too and have bred before.

Zack better let me atleast borrow it and let if get friendly with a female if that is that case.
 
wow this is my first post in the cichlid part of the forum. i know that what i did is not recommended, but i bought a white midas(thinks its a hybrid) without researching it and aptly named it Prius lol. He is with my monsters...arowana 2 large knifes and so on. he is the only 1 in the tank with colour and is one of the coolest fish in the tank. he begs for food and follows me where ever i go. he seems quite calm. he is 7 inches long and almost 1.5 inches thick. loves market shrimp. before you get mad, i have spare tanks incase something goes bad.
