Well I think a hide with low clearance would be okay, don't you think? Obviously I'll either have a small coconut hut, half-log, whatever, and then some sort of larger hide, but still low enough for the snake to feel secure.

You can go with a rack system, but your display will go out the window!! I will be a lot cheaper. The way i lok at it ,wanna display, gotta pay!!! Good luck with your choice's!!! Jose
ill agrue the toss over that post tanks are not ideal to keep bp or any other snakes in for that matter... maybe maybe a tank is a good option for a pigmy rattler... that is the only snake other than viper berus i would even think about tanking.... oh maybe a couple of sea snakes????
seriously these are borrowing nocturnal snakes, they are always happiest in dark tubs....
dogs and snakes have completely different requirements and nature, so comparing the 2 is just plain stupid, and you (should) know that.Lets see i'm gonna put my dog in a aquarium because he fits.Aquariums are for water!!!!
yeah, you're not going to see it all day, every day. that's not the point though; when it does come out, you want to be able to see it. you're guaranteed to NEVER see it in a tub unless you take it out.Yes you could but a bp there,1st there mostly active at night, your barely gonna see him unless you mess with him a lil to come out!!!
the tinfoil is only necessary if you can't keep the humidity where you need it. if you're in an area with a dry climate (like arizona), you might need to partially cover the screen lid with something. however, OP is in ohio, and i doubt he'll have any troubles with humidity if he has a moist hide box and a big enough water bowl.2nd how lovely is a display tank gonna look with some tinfoil taped to the top!!!
