Well according to petsolutions... they have an L024 on sale for $49.99. It looks like an L114, but definitely not an L024.
 
thats what I thought, they said their supplier sent too many so they were sellin them cheap. had i only known i woul;d have bought more... my convict tank needs some algae management. incidently, hear they dont allways want to eat algae, but there is no problem right now, the snails are helping too

a lot of plecos are not algae eaters
 
Most plecos will eat algae, but it doesn't make up the major part of their diets. Even those that primarily feed on algae, should not be kept on an algae exclusive diet.
 
interesting... i have some sinking shrimp pellets, i am going to drop a few in there and see if hes interested, the trouble is i almost never see him move or eat, he just hangs out on the driftwood like all the time. maybe at night or in the morning....
