If mankind is the steward of the planet, It helps to have a greater understanding of all inhabitants.
Orcas in captivity is a good thing for the species. People see them, fall in love, or feel sorry for them and send all there money to save the orcas. This should help far more orcas than it hurts in the long run. I see the big picture. This is a very small percentage in captivity. I dont hug trees or fall in love with the Siberian Tigers when I have never seen one in real life. I also keep monster fish in there unatural habitat for my own enjoyment. I believe people are most important, and the enjoyment, knowledge, and interaction is far more important than a few unhappy orcas.
