Order from Dan at Cichlids of the Americas

So I decided to order from Dan this time instead of Rapps. I've been watching their stock for probably 2 months and Dan's was just more appealing at the moment. He's shipping out next monday and I'll be sure to snap a few pics once they get into the tank.

The order:

2x Festae 3" (I was told that getting 1 of each sex would not be a problem) I hope this is true.

1x Salvini 3" (Dan is touting his Salvini from Usumacinta as some of the best coloring available)

1x Carpintis Escondido 3" (nothing special here, I just love Escondido)

1x Breidohri 3" (again, nothing special other than I find that Breidohri colors sort of make them look like zombie fish. LOL)

I hope you all like my choices. I've owned a female Festae in the past but never a male. I also have owned an Escondido as well as a large Texas. Oh and they are all going into my 240g. 8x2x2.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of the fish and that 240! My favorite tank was my 240. Wish I still had it. I have a breidohri from Dan that I've had for about a year. I've only ordered from Dan that one time. Got a midas and the breidohri. Very happy with the fish and experience. Been ordering from Jeff for probably 15 years, but he didn't have the midas I was looking for at the time. I'll be starting a 210-220 soon and will be placing another order with Dan soon. I'll post a pic of my breidohri if your intestested in seeing him. He's about 7" now.

I had a WC Ecuadorian male from Jeff in my 240. Was at least 10" when I lost him. Thinking about getting a female for my new tank. I love that female in your pp MP!

I have never ordered from Dan but after meeting him 4 years ago I always said the next time I need to make an order I will forward to doing business with him. Good luck on you arrivals.

Not to discredit rapps in anyway. Dan is awesome to deal with and has excellent quality stock. I've never been disappointed. Especially the parachromis.

female will have a black in the mohawk fin. They START to show that around 2.5"
