Ordering channas(For Malaysian only)

an uncle in his 60's taught me all these about d maruloides..on how to pick n judge a quality flower fish from juvenile to an adult. He was a maruloide breeder and he supplier them to d LFS. Went to his house n pond before and i'm indeed impressed but sad to say he's no longer around...n nobody inherited his business..nearly 10 years ago..really miss him n his fish

then how 2 choose the quality fish from juvenile to adult?

one more question.. if i put the black pellet stones on the aqua base, if cause channa colour more darker? i dun wan grey channa... i wan yellow./..
 
yes...generally fish are camouflage, if the base is dark they'll be dark, when I kept the bunga in clear base white poly the fish all very pale, when I add black sand the color all become dark.

then should put the yellow sand right??
 
i dun think its work that way, perhaps the yellowish one came from differentand speciall location,the environtment causing special genetic differences from other meruliodes
