Toyin dont have a phone number but he does have a email, like stated above most his poly are expensive for a first time buyer, but his fish are wild caught and come in big size.
The issue may be whether or not he has a local fish store he provides to and if that is the case you would have to go through them as opposed to being able to order direct.I have 6 5" in my cart online right now and the total is $191 with shipping included. Would you guess he'd be more than that for a 3 larger sized?
I think toyin have 9"-12" for $70-$80, im not sure cause its been two months since i asked for stock list.I have 6 5" in my cart online right now and the total is $191 with shipping included. Would you guess he'd be more than that for a 3 larger sized?
True, look at my addiction to polys, i bought 4 senegal in the first week of march, fell in love more to them especially when i had them, so decided to buy 4 more. Then the following week saw a ornate, told myself i only want two, i end up buying 6, the following week i went back and got two more ornate. In one month i had 16 polys SMHCongrats on taking the plunge...your life is now over and will be consumed by nothing but polypterus lol.
May be a dumb question but have you tried locally ? Maybe a lfs can order them for you. Even if you have to wait a couple of weeks it may be better to actually pick your first few polys rather than ordering blind. What i would give to be able to actually see the fish i was buying before hand lol
Tank mates should be anything that isnt torpedo shaped. You would be surprised at what they can get down. Angel fish would be cool.
Also just a suggestion maybe dont order soo many dels. These things are like drugs man. Today its a del, tomorrow its a retro, then an endli and so on. Maybe leave some room for future additions.
Good luck
this is good to know. Thanks for posting the email. Although, i'm sure I won't attempt to order from him for a long time.Toyin dont have a phone number but he does have a email, like stated above most his poly are expensive for a first time buyer, but his fish are wild caught and come in big size.
I received a beautiful delhezi a couple months ago from fishonlinerus.com. Has grown incredibly quick for a delhezi, and was reasonably priced. As mentioned above, wetspot is also very good, and so is bluegrassaquatics.com. I think you can comfortably fit 5-6 dels in a 125, but don't be surprised if you fall in love with them and want to add some variety! I have 12 polys and my favorite is a delhezi, so it's a great way to start. They're also peaceful, beautiful, and stay a manageable size.
As for tankmates, you have a lot of flexibility with delhezi, as everyone has said. They're very peaceful, so you can keep them with fish much smaller than them.
