My Del got his fins ripped up pretty good by my Palmas Palmas (no longer with me due to this.) You can see how he has progressed in this thread - I wouldn't worry about it personally.

Oh wow, he got him pretty bad. I haven't read through it all but has he recovered?

Okay so things have changed. I just got off the phone with the place that has the 5" Dels and he has also has a 12" Ornate!!! Question for you guys is, in your experience, would the 5" get eaten? I know it's a fish to fish basis and you can't really know but if it were your money would you order 3 5" dels and 1 12" ornate? He wants $100 for the ornate. I really want to jump for it. but if I'm going to have problems it's just not worth it. Plus, this tank is in my office at work. I have a 16ft x 8ft office to my self and I work from 8-5 and then I'm home so during dark hours I can't watch them. I might set up a camera in here.

Edit: he also has a 12" palmas for $47

This guy only has the 12" ornate unfortunately. Back to the drawing board or I could get the 2 nipped finned dels and 3 ornate.
 
Nipped fin not a big issue, it will grow back, i bought a endli from them that had split tail and it grew back in like a month. But asked them if they can give you a discount since it have a nipped fin.

Just ordered the following:

2 3" Dels
3 3" ornates
2 2" chocolate cichlids
2 1.75" spotted severums

YAY

I'm ordering a drop camera too for my office so i can spy on them at night.

Just thought of a problem though... I only have 2 5" Jaguar cichlids in this 125. Are all of these fish going to crash my cycle?

How long has the tank been running, and has it been stable? Get some live plants now if not, even if you don't intend to keep the tank planted.

Yeah, the jags might bully the other cichlids... Get the 75 going asap!
