Lmao:D

You dont need to toss out the goldfish, if the gold fish are big enough not to get eaten by a 3" poly you would be fine, you can qt the poly and the goldfish together, lolz
Atleast that will help the goldfish too, just feed the poly at night and the goldfish in the morning.:)

Goldfish don't like tropical temperatures though

They will grow fast, maybe 8" in 4-5 more months then slows down, ornate will keep growing till mabe 10"-13" then slows down, but both will gain grith.

Getting the 75 ready. Here is my check list.

1. figure out my substrate. I want to buy red garnet but I really want black sand :(
2. order sunsun canister
3. tomorrow I'm picking up the wood and building/staining the stand
4. get tank on stand in office
5. wash out sand and toss it in
6. seed canister filter
7. fill up the 75 and get about 15 shiners
8. wait a couple of weeks to make sure the canister took the seed well and ensure cycle is good
9. BUY POLYS

yeah, a lot of work. I'll have it all done next week besides checking the cycle. It might turn out that it's instant. My Dad has all of the tools and the work space and he'll be pretty busy tomorrow but hopefully we can get it done this weekend. Everything hinges on that.
