After he explained it with all the silver in it I asked him to look at a pic of an L-160 and he said that is what he has not another L-24. He didn't realize that L-24's were impossible to find as well as L-25's so he thought he let it go too cheap. But at least he did make good on his deal. Incidently my L-114 which is 4 inches started to pick on my new L-24 and shredded some of his fins. Even though the L-24 is 2 inches bigger the L-114 mauled him. I took the L-114 out and he is sitting currently in a 10 gallon till I figure out what to do. I only have a 90 and a 50 gallon. My 50 has a nasty Veija

I read on another board about someone who had similar problems with the aggro towards his L24, all three were attacked (eventually died) by other plecs. So I am assuming that they are not as aggro as some. Plus the L113 has already established the tank as his territory, maybe keep him out for a bit and rearrange items then try to reintroduce him, making sure you have adequate hiding places for each.

In fact it was a thread you started on another board about L24 and the member there said it was a L007 Vampire that killed his.

Well I sold my L-114 (sternella) or lepord cactus back to my LFS. I hated to part with it but it would have killed my L-24. I have read with pseudocanthicus plecos 1 per tank works the best unless they grew up together. L-114 are really aggressive towards like species. They win most of the time because of their dental work. LOL Beleive me these plecos move in fast. It never bothered any of my geos or barbs that are in the tank however. My geos are large 8 inches but wimps. The barbs are really fast. (aurilus barbs). Oh well melafix should do the trick plecos heal quickly if not bothered by another fish especially L-114.
