Orino !?!?!

99% sure I scored an Orino mixed in with a batch of Ocels at the LFS for 11 bucks

i went back and checked my pics from when i got my orinos from snookn21 and well it looks identical, but then again im not an expert, just goin off what i see..
 
Doesn't really look orino to me. I think it may end up being on Ocellaris. I'll let the experts decide
 
Some times Monos have gold rings when they're small. Try to get a head shot for a better ID.

And this is why is say not an orino. Young orinos have very symmetrical spots/patterns when young. And when they start to get gold rings, it will appear as 4 gold dots around the black circles.

The thing that made me think orino the most was that the stripe doesn't go into the tail at all

I would actually be just as happy with a peru mono :)

The tank he is in will be very difficult to photograph but I will give it a shot when he settles in

thats somethin i didnt even notice when i was lookin at my old pics and his fish, im glad we have people like u for better advice..
