Okay, I want to get things straightened out in regards to this whole thread about the PBass I sent you. In the PM you state the following.

A. So as all have gone out of there way to tell me it looks like I got Monos. And not Super Monos "Farmeis". Of course I am pissed but I am not madd at you in anyway.

B. Had I not gotten them i could have gotten in on the Kelebri order

C. it is just the pits right now because my money is super tight and i only get paid once a month so I have to put all my marbles in one bag so to speak so i hope I don't miss out all around.

Reason I post this out in the open and not reply in pm is because you state that I may start hearing rumors. Well I have nothing to hide nor do i like to hide anything so whatever rumors are floating around they can be addressed and dealt with.

You say you are not upset with me however based on what you wrote it's like an indirect hint that you are.

First off when this whole transaction took place you knew and saw the pictures of the pbass I had.

When I bought them (as I posted pictures) I believed they are Orino's based on the gold rings around their spot. I wasn't the only one who bought them. Many in So.Cal had bought a few from the same LFS I bought them from. If they are growing out to be something else and the patterns are changing then that's beyond my control. As I mentioned the one I have left is being grown out by a good friend (RED1) which is developing/looking like the ones you pictured. Which I posted pictures of. I even asked one of the Mods (Benjamin) to post any pictures of his to see what they look like now. In addition even said they were Farmies so yes, they could be mixed.
I also don't understand the comment of the "Super Mono's" thing.


But for you to try to make me feel bad on your PM like I owe you something, and it's because of me you missed out on these Kelberis, please. This does not fly with me.

Your financial status is not of my concern nor do I wish to know. I charged you $20.00 each (x3) for the Pbass and you pay the freight and whatever fee my friend charged for boxing and using his account to ship ($50)?


Did I charge you for the gas that it took for the hour long drive out to the Airport from my house? .... NO

Did I charge you any extra for what I got the Orino's for..... NO

Did I charge you for the 4 hrs I missed from work just to do this favor..... NO

So why did I do it. Wrong reason of thinking I was helping out a fellow hobbyist. Like I said to try to give me the guilt trip over this does not fly with me.

This is seriously the LAST time I do anyone any favors, ever. Never again. Live and learn.

Anyone out there who is into to PBASS. I guarantee that if they came across this batch pictured @ a LFS they would think it's Orinos.

An italian trait that is more of a curse .. but anyways the guys pictured do look like orinos. how big are they there in the picture you posted btw? anyways you can't blame HCR for being upset, it can be disappointing to have your cichla turn into a diff. sp then wanted. i dont think he has pointed any fingers and should point any figures at you R1. like you said you tried to help him out. LIKE I ALWAYS SAY .. SMALL CICHLA CAN BE ANY CICHLA. This was a lesson learned the hard way for the both of you. Do i think this should of been done this in a pm, absolutely! He's just upset that he didn't get what he thought he was getting and missed out on something, but isn't mad at you about it. At least that's how I take it. I wouldn't take it as offensive, he's just saying how he feels. I know him and he doesn't seem pissed at you to me. It's not your fault that you got the wrong fish from whomever you got them from. Now, I don't know if you told him that they were orino's for sure, but that's just my take. I'm sorry if I'm interfering and saying things that aren't true. I just wish people wouldn't have told them they were monos for sure because you won't really know for sure until they grow up some.

Alright since you went public with it. I don't think there was any wrong doing at all so . I only put the Super Mono comment in there because that was the first time I had heard of that as well. Thought it was obviously you didn't. You asked me about did I get in on the the Kelberi and I just brought these cichla in question. I still think they may be Orino as I stated in the pm.

About my finances that is just to let you know I aint here to just be buying anything. I never once complained about the small amount you asked for them so put a halt to that Shibby! I wanted Orino and I thought that's what I was getting hands down. Not paying for cichla I can get here for $6.oo.

As for making you fell bad WTF I already gave you props for hooking me up. It sounds like you took things the wrong way. Period.

Not sure if your pictures are not capturing the gold rosettes around the spots but can you see them in person? or are they exactly as you took the pictures?

These babies are just very bizarre...Just curious as to how they will turn out when they get bigger. If they don't turn out to be Orino's..don't worry, I'll hook you up with something better... .....C.R.E.A.M

My PM to you was in regards to the people coming in this thread I posted and going out of there way to make me understand that these Cichla aren't Orino's. Which I think is strange because there nowhere to be found when other's are asking for Id's of there cichla which I did not ask of them and the two of these expert that chimmed in on my new arrivals were asking in there own thread what they had. 800 hit's on one thread in the short amount of time the thread was posted. Now that's love.

The price you charged me was awesome and super cheap even if they are monos from LA. "I just didn't wan't you to think I was hating on you by not responding personally." and that's what the pm was all about.

But by the way your handeling things your a little pissy about me reaching out to say I was 100% cool with what ever I got. . Is that your conciuos messing with you?

And you don't owe me nothing the deal is done. But I see you got your big man shirt on now so we all know who is involved and we all know what the outcome was!


The Rumors-
1.It had been stated that you sent me cichla that weren't from the picture you sent.

I never mentioned that to you because it was petty period. I got a nice hook up none the less.

2. It was stated that you did it to make room or for the money.

I found these both hard to believe also because, if you were dupping me for the money then you would have giving me an outrageous price but $20.00 was more then fare even for Fakes. And if you needed to dump some cichla on someone then why would you put so much effort into going out of your way to do so.

So chill out man. And don't trip I ain't blamming you for nothing that's why I tried to handle this civil through pm. But getting all brody about it?

People don't have to say things directly to make their point across because the same point can be made by indirectly speaking. What bothers me is the whole if I did not buy these than I could have gotten in on the Kelberis for sale, but yet before even knowing Rapps had Kelberis was ready to buy any of my other PBASS if any were for sale.

You asked me if I got in on them and I let you know I couldn't because I got my money spread out everywhere involved with cichla the three I got from you and a new tank on the way. And yes had you sold me any of the other Kleberi which we would have known what it was no doubt. I would have brought it. Period. So what's your point? I said this because this was my mistake I ain't blamming you for Shibby! None of this was about you I just wanted you to know no matter what was said or what they come out to be I am happy with the deal. I even said I love the way everyone is reaching out to everyone to make it possiable to get some of these more sought after cichlids.

Yea I laughed when that notion came up as well. (about sending me other cichla) I thought why in the H3ll would he do something like that. So that's why I never mentioned it. And I didn't start any lies or rumors

And let's clear up this Rapps thing I am new to all of this online ordering thing. I still don't trust the net. I just kept hearing he would never get them in and no one could get them in and he got them. That was handled between me and Boostin already. This was the first time I recieved any order from anywhere through a shippment. All in all I was happy with it all. Just don't like all the lies about what we can't get and this sentiment is more or less my distain for my own LFS. But I am not worried about getting any of the formentioned Cichla BECAUSE obviously there is more then one way to skin a rat. R1 I have no hard feelings for you at all man. I just wanted you to know that before someone goes thrwowing that out there that I do. I do have a disliking for the way things are hadled in this hobby as a whole but Boostin set me straight on that as well. It has been this way and will remain to be this way. I learned a few good lessons and bad lessons or two from this all But I am not unhappy I have one of the tightest collections around. imo. So let's just see what the future holds for us all.
