CIchla under 7" should be kept in highly airated water that is well filtered and at 87-89 degrees. YOu do this and you shouldnt have a problem.

What is your salt ratio ?

I use 1 tsp to 5 gallons.

Is that good ?

hey man, i just got 3 pbass about 2 in i could really use some advice on my thread.
 
i ordered 4 from john, got them in perfect condition, just small imo. they got ich about 2 days after being introduced into the 10gallon planted tank. mine wont eat anything but live and I don't plan on feeding them anything but live untill they hit 6-7". there all doing fine now and putting on some huge growth, water temp is at 84-87 depending on the time of te day ( tanks by window ) and i've got 1 tsp per 2 gallons of water. these things are monsters and hit the top of the water like pros.
