And that’s the biggest reason I’m so upset with myself- I know that already but had it my mind it could work. There are a bunch of loaches that hang out with mosey. So far no casualties, the occasional nip here and there but they literally lay on top of him.
I think I read somewhere that silvery sheened fish seem to active a polys predatory response for some reason. I wonder if that is part of it, mixed with fear pheromones (dinner bells). I’m concerned now that he has had a taste of live food he will be more aggressive toward more of the other fish, I hear bass taste good so I guess it’s not his fault, he’s just doing what he knows to do.
I pulled the remaining bass out of that side of the tank until I figure out what to do.
