sounds like a good mix, bound to be something he will gorge himself on. lol im not sure why i call all fish 'he' Oh... Im sure you know but make sure your lid is secure... A while ago a shop near me had an awesome ornate, around 16 inches long. i went in one day and it was gone. i asked after it and it had gotten out fo the tank and dried up on the floor. really was a crying shame! My tank lid is cut at each end for external filter pipes but i have cut rubber to fit snugly to the pipes so there si no gaps whatsoever

im sure someone will be able to answer. but I honestly have no idea. It's probably not beyond the realms of possibility that someone somewhere breeds them

thats a shame you would think they would know they like to get around. what do you feed? oh and they place i was ordering from was out of stock and this other place the order would be 95$ damn im back to contemplating lol...

how long dose it take to reach a good size. I have one and he's small and I worry my red tail might make a meal out of him.

massivore and sinking carnivore and nls. ill sometimes push bits of fish or shrimp into their cave if there are bits leftover. did they give an idea of when they would be back in stock? can you not travel a little further and investigate other lfs? hopefully youll find something soon!

so i got it today its eating and seems well except for its right pectoral fin is either damaged or deformed because its much smaller and different shape than the normal one and some fin is missing in the dorsal spines. its about 2 1/2" long and nice dark color
