So my 8" ornate bichir has recently become more active... To active. He swims frantically up and down along the glass to the point where his nose has turned a different color. Also he has become very washed out. Water parameters are normal, feeding is normal, and from what I can tell, it doesn't look like there is anything picking on him.

My bichir does this too. But its when he gets freaked out. Which is pretty much always. But nothing happened to his nose.... interested what others have to say about this.

I need to spark up my fish life

Define stray voltage? Because my rope fish is acting the same way as my ornate but none of my other fish are affected.

Voltage in the water due to ground fault or other elec issue from eqquip on the tank, use a voltage tester, (if you had a small cut on your finger you'd feel a sting from the stray voltage )

Google stray voltage in an aquarium for factual info
