Ornate with common pleco

How big are the Rainbows? I know they can have a pretty high body as they mature, but I wouldn't trust them with larger Polys like a Weeksii, Ornate, and/or most Lower Jaw species.

+1 the rainbows could be good for life if the circumstances are good. If their body is big and deep enough and the polys are small enough, but then again theres nothing saying the polys won't try and take a bite. Everything else should be good, the only other thing that maybe be a question mark is the cutteri (from what i've read) they are just like the rainbows and depending on their size and the polys size will depend on how long they live assuming the polys don't try and take a bite out of them.

They're not too big yet but I'd wait until I got all my rainbows and they've settled in and then get a small bichir. If I can't get a larger species I'll probably just keep my pleco and get a few pictus cats. I already have a delhezi and Senegal in another tank.

If I were to get rid of the pleco and just do small bichirs. Would Senegals, palmas, and retropinnis work? Also how many could I have?

just buy them all as babies and grow them out no problems. or go wild caught and buy them as close to the same size as possible
