IMO i would get all of them. IMO that 48" by 24" foot print is good
 
buettikoferi lol thats one of my favs. I also like the palmas palmas, and if you put the palmas polli on the right substrate they can look amazing as well.
 
I could get 5 bichirs in this tank? I was planning on upgrading to a. 180 or maybe just keeping both ranks setup but if I do get the 180 would all these bichirs get along with a stingray?

Well with the dimensions you've given you have about a 110-120 gallon tank. So IMO a 48x24 foot print is good. As far at the stingray i'm not really sure from what i've heard people do keep them together but then again there is also those stories of the stingray accidentally stinging the polys.
 
I still am unsure about the stingray. If I get one I was gonna get a male reticulated stingray.
