Oscar ate a Pleco...problem.

this is an old thread someone just asked for an update. the op should be able to tell us if the o is dead or healed.
 
I had a perch try to swallow something too big. He couldnt get it down after a few hours so I took it out cause I could see the fish was getting exhausted. After the fish was out his mouth looked exactly like your Oscars. I turned the lights off and in the morning his mouth was back to normal.
 
i saw a post about a peacock bass that tried eating a large pleco, the owner removed the pleco and the bass's mouth was wide open like that. a little time and he will close it, the muscles are probably really tense.

old post as in 2 days? no answers have been given, my response is the same as everyone elses, pal.
 
but they all posted it within hours, at this point in time the fish is either dead, or healed but the op hasnt come on here to update anything so....................
