I have a oscar i had in my 75 gallon tank and he got beat up pretty bad any ideas what would help heal him back up i put him n a tank by his self

Im using melafix on him to try and heal his wounds hes eating fine and seams fine just looks tore up fins split and alot of body wounds

Your better off using aquarium salt along with feeding less and more water changes IME

you can also raise the temperature slightly,+2 on using the salt.

My red devil and my texas started nipping at his skin and they were all ganging up on him but ive been doing melafix the past 3 days havent done a water change yet i will though and wouldnt the salt kill him since hes freshwater

no it wont dont use sea salt use freshwater salt and dont use meds use heat and salt
