OSCAR EMERGENCY, he jumped out...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it seems your doing everything right, the only thing i would of done different is that when you first put him back in the tank, instead of just droping him in, i would of held him by the tail and moved him back and forth in the water, causes more water to pass the gills.

let us know how he does! poor thing-i bet it scared the living daylights out of him.

watch the tankmates if any

i had a roseline shark jump out for maybe half an hour and i put it back in the water
it was doing ok-ish, swimming slowly, breathing hard
but then after an hour i came back and found the gourami chewing it because it was so weak

Sadly, he didn't make it.:(

edit: oops, never mind. sorry for the loss.

turn the light off for an extended amount each day offer him inticing foods and get him eating...when doing water changes add a little cooler water than normal not to much tho this seems to invigerate my fish ans with o's ive always kept big jars of food on the tank lid they always jump for some reason even my t bar is now banging the lid

you could add some stress coat. :)
