Yes, I've got a lid. But, obviously I need to close up a hole. I'm working on that now.

aww man that's no good!! nothing worse than loosing a fish due to it jumpin out of the tank...i lost a mono cuase of that, annoys the @#$% out ya cause u know it could have been prevented!!

I know what you're saying. It is, at the end of the day, entirely my fault for not taking better measures to prevent it. I wrongly assumed none of them could fit through the small space left uncovered.

But, yes I'm going to replace him. He and the other Oscar were thick like thieves. Now, the lone Oscar is sort of moping, like he misses his buddy. I just need to find one of adequate size, so he'll fit in easier (the tank is full of big stone cold killers, lol, see sig.).
 
adding another air stone may help give the water more dissolved air which is a good thing like someone already mentioned and someone mentioned no food that I think is also a good idea at this point.

And I thought losing my Beta to jumping was bad... I believe about the other one moping. My female angel has never been the same since her mate died.
