Hey ken31cay, If your Oscar's are doing occasional lip lock (even gentle) you might want to keep a lookout between them and check each one for any injuries as
they might be fighting for territory.

I will, thank you. It is not serious right now but it could of course escalate, especially as they get bigger. I've raised Oscars to fully grown in the past.
Edit: these two do mock breeding after water changes recently so I'm hoping they turn out to be a pair. I bred Tiger Oscars years ago.

Hi, thanks for the replies and suggestions..I might see for another one more day how they gonna do in the tank..If they continues fight I might have to take one of em out and put in another new tank..I was happy when I saw them lip locking because I wanted them to breed but didn't know it will turn out this bad.. Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts..
