That would probably be way to expensive but would you seriously swap me a mated pair of oscars for normal guppies?!Vincentii;3734716; said:swop you your 150 guppises for my pair of oscars. . . hmmm how much is it to ship fish to america anyway?
Wow that is expensive, i started with about 10 now i have 150 lol and they are all healthy and well taken care of, i think i am starting to also get a special strain of them i have one very large male almost bigger then the females which all of my other males are very very tiny with lots of blue but they are just normal guppies not fancy or anything but i think they may be startingVincentii;3734747; said:yes. im being serious.
i got 4 babiy oscars at 2'' to cycle my new tank earlier on in the year and they just grew. 150 guppies would be ideal in my stingray tank. and in the u.k 1 guppy costs £2!
have a look in my profile and look at my photo album.
oh and sorry i can't look at your gallery i don't have 5 posts yet lolVincentii;3734747; said:yes. im being serious.

haha that sounds interesting i probably have more than 150 because i lot are very little they are in a 45 gallon tank and have so many hiding places, I'm looking on the internet for shipping rates right now just to get an idea hey maybe it isn't as expensive as we think i don't know where your located but to London it is 215.00 YIKESVincentii;3734779; said:guppies are fun.
i went through a stage in 2008 where i bought 6 guppies for the sole intention of raising the babies as food for my monster fish. had a swarm of babies (must of been 2000+) tried to raise them up a bit bigger for my big fish to eat and ran out of places to put them baby guppies in. kept them in a buckets, vases that contained lilly flowers, jars, pots, wevery room in my house had guppies.
yeah they are also very beauitiful i'm taking that into consideration too, i really like albinos though tooHouse 64;3734805; said:Laura, just my suggestion but.... If you're gonna invest that kind of time and energy into growing out and/or breeding Oscars, maybe consider getting a small group of Wild Caught (F0) Columbian Oscars and growing them out... They are truly nice looking and well worth the investment (and time to find them).
