there is only one other fish that the oscar is PROVEN to be able to reproduce with, Astronotus crassipinnis , but truthfully, i know know if you would notice a difference because they look so much alike. Geeze, balloon oscars, really??? The sad thing is I have heard a lot of "balloon" fish are made by injecting something into the fish .... not a positive thing in my eyes ...
