oscar hybrids?

I don't think they can breed with other fish. I never heard of that.

ok, though the pictured oscars do look real, and a mate of mine has a short bodied o anyway, ugly as sin but i want it.

i dunno bout hybrid oscars, but i have seen the following oscar varieties:
tigers
reds
wilds
lemons
veil/longfin
yellow tiger
albino
albino tiger
super red
super red tiger
super red albino
white
and 1 midnight oscar(pure black, fikin awesome!)
i was sort of on an oscar kick a while back and went nuts looking for every possible oscar i could find, then just bought a regular tiger. never heard of a ballon oscar, but they are pretty cool!

no they have not crossed with bass lol. they cant even cross with other cichlids outside of there genus. why could the cross with bass

While they certainly can not cross with north american bass it is not out of the question that they could cross with cichlids outside their genus. I guess peacock bass would fit that description, however unlikely it is certainly possible.
