i have 2 oscars ,bala shark, red parrot, tinfoil barb , and a pleco. all in a 125 gal tank. the wierd thing is i would see ich on 1 of my oscar which is the tiger one. the rest of the fishes show no sign of ich at all. i tried raising the temp and alot of water changes is there any way to fix this? also i just notice that there is a small red or pink pimple on the side of his scale? it is the size of regular period. just a lil bigger. is there something wrong with him what can i do to fix this?

If it truly is ick then simply raise the temp 86 or higher and add some salt. Just because one fish might have it doesn't mean all of them will. I have not had to deal with ick in a very long time. The only time I ever did was with clown loaches from the lfs. I used microbe-lift herbtana, worked like a charm.
its definately not new tank ive had my tank for a year and still only 1 oscar would have ich out of all of them. ive tried ich medications and raising temp but had not attempt to try it with salt.im kind of iffy about salt. will table salt work instead from aquarium salt?

For 2 weeks. After first week do 50% water change. And replace salt.
Even table salt will do. Or noniodized witch is same as fish tank salt.

i had really good results with kordon ich attack ich treatment(green bottle) a while back in a smaller tank... you just read the directions and do the treatment twice a day and frequent water changes, use one teaspoon per every 10 gallons and i used the cap because it is very similar to a teaspoon. also make sure you remove any carbon in your filter for ich attaches to it.. i had a side mounted filter and i replaced the carbon and pored a quarter of the treatment directly into the filter to kill off any residual ich from residing in the filter... ich also itches the fish and they tend to rub on the side of decorations to scratch them selfs, this causes ich to grow on decorations so you should take out all decorations and clean them well... ich causes cysts which this may be the "red or pink pimple". also make sure there is enough airoration in the water... im pretty sure if i can remember right the bottle says keep treating one week after the ich goes away.. i would also recommend api aquarium salt as some of the other users also suggested... feel free to ask any questions i failed to cover, i hope this helps... btw this is all based off of personal experience and this is what i did to rid my aquarium of ich(it worked for me) so please no criticism. thanks
Ick is one of those things that you never think you can get, but then there it is. My fix is jumping the temp up to 86 and leave it there for about 2week. I had a Oscar that I moved from one tank to another tank and he broke out in Ick and so I treated the tank with rising the temp and adding salt left it for 2week and then as soon as the Ick was gone did only a 25% water change and then drop the temp down to 83 deg and watch him over the next month and you should be fine. If you catch it in time TEMP and salt work well good luck
